Industry and processes
Production, motors, compressed air, heat generation and auxiliary services: we read consumption in relation to processing and production volumes.
TèKHNE / SERVICES
We analyze energy uses and site operating conditions to identify opportunities for improvement.
How much your business consumes is just the starting point. The diagnosis helps to understand where, when and why energy is used.
We relate bills, load profiles and operating conditions to reconstruct the energy uses of the site. The objective is to identify improvement opportunities compatible with the processes, comfort and continuity of activities.
A technical basis for planning investments, evaluating redevelopment or starting an energy management process, even when the diagnosis is a voluntary choice.
Production, motors, compressed air, heat generation and auxiliary services: we read consumption in relation to processing and production volumes.
Air conditioning, ventilation, lighting and other uses: we consider times, occupancy and conditions of use of the spaces.
Buildings and systems with different needs: the analysis helps to define redevelopment priorities and plan resources.
02 / THE PATH
The perimeter, the level of detail and any measures are defined based on the objectives and available data.
We share needs and collect historical consumption, costs, system documentation, timetables and information on activities. We verify the completeness and representativeness of the data.
We examine systems, adjustments and operating methods with the site representatives. If necessary, we define targeted measures to examine the most significant uses.
We reconstruct the distribution of consumption and usage profiles. We link indicators to production, climate or occupancy, when relevant, to make performance comparable.
We compare management and technological opportunities, estimating savings, investments and return times. We highlight hypotheses, constraints and further analysis needed before implementation.
03 / THE RESULTS
The audit produces a report that makes the analysis clear and explains the priorities. The contents are shared with those who will have to manage the choices and interventions.
From diagnosis to monitoring ↗Energy balance of the analyzed perimeter, main energy uses, indicators and critical issues detected, with evidence of the quality of the data used.
Regulation, maintenance, energy recovery or component replacement interventions, selected on the basis of the actual characteristics of the site.
Estimate of energy and economic benefits, indicative costs and comparison criteria. The estimated savings depend on the operating conditions and must be verified after the interventions.
04 / STANDARDS AND REFERENCES
Technical standards, legal provisions and operational indications play different roles. The applicability to the individual case must be assessed within the current framework.
Part 1 defines general requirements, methodology and results of diagnosis. The specific parts delve into buildings, processes and transport, depending on the perimeter analysed.
Consult the UNI reference ↗Art. 8 of Legislative Decree 102/2014 and subsequent amendments regulates the diagnostic obligations in the national framework. Directive (EU) 2023/1791, art. 11, redefines the European framework for audits and management systems: obligations and timescales require verification of the applicable national provisions.
Legislative Decree 102/2014 on Normattiva ↗Read the directive on EUR-Lex ↗Guidelines and clarifications help to set up the relationship and any obligations. For diagnoses subject to transmission, the Audit102 portal is the operational reference indicated by ENEA.

Yes. It can help identify inefficiencies, compare investments and define an intervention order. The perimeter is built around the needs of the business and the decisions to be made.
Bills and consumption data for a representative period, list of systems, operating hours and information on the activity. For a production site, production volumes are also useful. In the initial comparison we define what data is already available and what further information is needed.
No. The APE describes the energy performance of the building according to a certification methodology. The diagnosis delves into the energy uses of the agreed perimeter and evaluates opportunities for improvement, relating data, operating conditions and interventions.
LET'S START FROM YOUR CONTEXT
